Pieter Scholtes is an experienced lawyer and trustee in bankruptcy and approaches his work with skill, calm and logic. Pieter specialises in insolvency law. His insolvency practice covers all aspects of this area of law. He works as a trustee and administrator, on the one hand, and he assists entrepreneurs, managers and financial institutions in the case of financial difficulties or a bankruptcy, on the other. He advises on reorganisations, financing and refinancing and continuity issues. Because of the versatility of insolvency law, Pieter litigates on a wide variety of issues. Examples include liability matters, settlements and collections.
Pieter successfully completed the Grotius Academy training courses in financing and security, insolvency law and the financial economics follow-up training for trustees in bankruptcy. He is a member of INSOLAD – the Dutch Association of Insolvency Practitioners. Pieter speaks fluent German and is a member of the German Desk.
