“I am a Limburger with Caribbean roots. I combine level-headedness with enthusiasm and interest in others. That is also important for my work: putting the client at ease and listening in order to arrive at the heart of the case.”

Xiomara Heymann

For her clients, Xiomara Heymann is a consultation partner with a great deal of empathy. She is service-oriented with a focus on results. Her working methods are characterised by a logical stepwise approach, which results in a clear and practical advice. In the event of a conflict, she will attempt to find a pragmatic solution if this is in the interests of the client, but she does not shun litigation.

Xiomara specialises in labour law. She assists employers and employees in a wide variety of labour law issues. You can turn to her for drawing up and assessing various types of employment contracts, staff manuals and codes of conduct, advice on complications during employment, such as reorganisations, sickness and reintegration, unsatisfactory performance or a damaged working relationship. Also at the termination of the working relationship – in proper consultation or via legal proceedings – she will provide assistance and advice. Collective labour law and worker participation law are also part of her practice. In addition to labour law, Xiomara focuses on national and international commercial law: drawing up and assessing national and international contracts and general conditions.

Xiomara successfully completed the Tilburg Maastricht post-academic training in labour law. She is a member of the Dutch Labour Lawyers Association (VAAN) and is secretary of the Limburg chapter of the Association of Labour Law Lawyers (VAAAL).

Xiomara Heymann has registered the following areas of law in the register of the Dutch Bar Association:

  • Employment law
    • Collective labour law
    • International labour law
    • Worker participation law
  • Transportation- and commercial law

This registration obliges Xiomara to achieve ten permanent education points per calendar year in accordance with the standards of the Dutch Bar Association.
